Hi, My Name Is...
and my passion is Ireland; be it tracing family heritage, delving into the history, or humming along with some great music.
I can't even begin to count all the days I've spent in Ireland traveling about the 32 beautiful counties. I've experienced the vibrant cities, charming towns, rural gems with breathtaking views and discovered what is unique, unusual, truly interesting, and ultimately worthwhile.
Using all this first-hand knowledge I've put together a tour of Ireland that really is like no other. Packed with unique locales and special touches turns what would otherwise be just a "good" trip into an extraordinary experience.
What's So Different About My Irish Tour?
I custom plan it
This isn't just another cookie cutter trip
Like any good tour guide, I'll take you to all the popular destinations like the Blarney Stone and the Rock of Cashel. You'll also get to see great spots that lie off the beaten path like the village of Howth and Spike island.
This also isn't a grade school field trip, there's plenty of time to yourself to explore and I know that everyone has their own set of interests as well. Want to play the front nine? Let's make it happen.
Culture is at the forefront
Beer is great, hangovers aren't
We're going to stop at some cozy pubs and have a good time. This tour isn't a bar crawl, though, it's about discovering all the Ireland has to offer. From Viking raids to High King Brian Boru and little fishing villages to sprawling cities, I'll show you what the real Ireland is like.
Goodbye hostels, hello luxury
Live Like Kings (and Queens)
It's going to be tough saying goodbye to a time as good as this. Just a few of the benefits that make this a premium experience:
- 4 & 5 star hotels, like Dromoland Castle
- Top notch, locally sourced food
- Time to sleep in every morning
- You get to relax, not stress about all the details
What Others Have Said
Sounds pretty good, right? But you don't have to just take my word for it, check out what these travelers from past tours thought about their experience.
"It was a trip of a lifetime for us, just like walking through the photos of an Ireland calendar. As if the itinerary was not enough, the people were so welcoming. Everyone we encountered had a story to tell, and we wanted to listen. Some were entertaining, some educational, a few political, some incredibly moving...and all memorable. The trip was a balanced blend of nature, scenery, history, towns and cities."
"I visited places, I knew nothing about and learned so much. It was a trip of a lifetime. Three or four times a day, a memory from the trip will pop into my mind, and I smile with happiness."
"We saw sights and enjoyed adventures and treats we never would have known about without you.
Anne & Tom M.
"They were good breaks from the drive. It got us up and moving and we chatted with one another getting on and off the bus. Little moments like this drew the group closer together.
"This was a trip of a lifetime. It was like walking through Irish history. Thank you for a wonderful experience and we look forward to traveling with you again in the future."
"The trip exceeded my expectations. I really got a good understanding of the culture and history of Ireland."
"Our expectations were exceeded. There are so many examples of how Stuart made us feel royally supported during the tour."
Here's A Quick Overview Of What We'll Be Doing
I call this the Southern Gems from East to West tour, and the name gives it away. We're going to start in Dublin and travel the south of Ireland from the east coast to the west, ultimately departing from Shannon. In-between are 10 days full of exploration, discovery, and good times!
Visiting Quaint Villages
It's oft in the most obscure places that the greatest treasures lie. Striking up interesting conversation with a local, finding the perfect one-of-a-kind souvenir, or diving in to great eats...I'll show you plenty of little villages, like Malahide and Adare, with a unique flavor all their own.
Experiencing Awe-Inspiring Sights
The Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Peninsula, the Rock of Cashel, and more are sure to make your jaw drop and suck the breath straight out of your lungs. Soaring mountains to sweeping vistas, waterfalls to majestic lighthouses, there's a little bit of nature for everyone.
Exploring Castles, Lots of Castles
Ireland's been around a long time and she's seen her fair share of kings and conquerors, not to mention a Viking or two. Walk the Medieval Mile in Kilkenny or experience a little magic when you kiss the Stone at Blarney Castle.
Perhaps the most important bit of the entire trip. I'm not going to rush you from place to place to place with hardly a moment to catch your breath. You're going to see a lot and have the time to actually appreciate it too.
