Real Irish Travel Reviews

Kerri M. - 2026 Tour

What a wonderful trip to Ireland with Stuart Marley of Real Irish Travel. Stuart’s love of Ireland shows in his meticulous planning of our trip. Beautiful 4-5 star hotels, restaurants, comfortable coach for our travels around the northern part of the country (with Ken as our fearless, funny and very capable driver), guided local tours, special events throughout our trip.

We didn’t have to worry about anything, Stuart took care of reservations, luggage transport, flights and couple of beautifully well timed surprises. One of the attractive features was the small size of our tour group. It enabled us to investigate some of the narrow Irish streets and gave us a lot of travel flexibility. Importantly, we made friends. We are hopeful to be able to participate in another Real Irish Travel tour soon!!

My husband and I recently returned from an incredible 12-day trip to Ireland with Real Irish Travel’s North by Northwest tour. From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of outstanding. Our tour leader, Stuart, was an absolute professional. He meticulously planned and organized every aspect of our journey, ensuring that we had a seamless and enjoyable time exploring Dublin, Belfast, Derry, Donegal, Westport, and Galway.

One of the highlights of our trip was staying in a charming castle. We also had the opportunity to learn how to play a frame drum, which was a fun and unique experience. We dined at amazing restaurants, savoring delicious local cuisine. And let’s not forget the sheep herding demonstration we witnessed with a farmer and his well-trained sheep dog. Our group of fellow-travelers made each experience even more fun and memorable. These are just a few of the many incredible moments that made our trip truly unforgettable. The itinerary was well-balanced and the accommodations were excellent. Stuart’s knowledge and attention to detail made the experience both enjoyable and stress free. We highly recommend Real Irish Travel to anyone looking for an authentic & memorable Irish adventure.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacations in Ireland. We have traveled with Stuart and Real Irish Tours twice - first in 2024 for South by southwest tour and in 2026 for North by Northwest Ireland tour. Stuart’s tours are fabulous. There is Irish culture and history embedded in each day. We visited castles, churches, cemeteries, gardens in bloom, museums, and tours with local guides. We had demonstrations of Irish weaving, hat making, sheep dogs and Irish music. We enjoyed the beautiful Irish countryside with grazing sheep and stunning coastlines. We ate great food, drank Guinness and Irish whiskey and we met some special people on the tour. We had excellent accommodations at 4-5 star hotels. Stuart takes care of all the logistics. The tours are well planned and executed seamlessly. If you are looking for an authentic and awesome Irish adventure, I highly recommend Real Irish tours.

A trip to Ireland with Real Irish and Stuart Marley is magical. It’s everything you would hope a good vacation to be. Beautiful accommodation, excellent food and awesome side trips. Our group of 14 people, plus Ken our driver extraordinaire, and our skipper Stuart made this trip an unforgettable adventure.

I have been writing about travel...and traveling...for over 30 years. So I know how tricky it is to bring all the components of a land tour together. Stuart did a fantastic job in all aspects -- not a easy feat. Not only does he design his tours, he accompanies them. He was always cheerful, even when presented with a challenge. And so hospitable, buying the first drink for everyone at our many group dinners. If you have always wanted to see Ireland, then GO now... And go with Real Irish Tours. You won't be disappointed. We are already considering doing another tour with Stuart next year. Maybe to Scotland and Wales. Maybe to the south of Ireland. Oh, and did I say that I finally learned to love Guinness Stout?

Just back from 12 wonderful days touring Dublin and the north and west of Ireland. So many tours all scheduled and arranged ahead of time never could have done it myself and the bus driver easily navigated roads I wouldn't want to even on the right side of the road. Accomodations and meals superb. Music, history, scenic overlooks and local tour guides giving details beyond the guidebooks. Have to do another of these tours.
